Heavy metal four-piece Lord Fist announce that bassist/founding member Pekka Lampinen has decided to leave the band after 11 years. At the same time, the Finns introduce Jukka Rahkonen as Pekka's replacement and permanent member.

The band comments: "Our original bass player Pekka has decided to leave the band. After continuous scheduling problems he himself saw them preventing the band going forward with full force. We are sad, but admire his brave decision to act in a time of uncertainty. This is truly the end of an era. Pekka played on all of our past releases and was a true friend and a relentless performer when we took our fisting heavy metal across the Finnish and foreign stages for the first time in our lives. Farewell Legend.

"Fortunately his successor was already deep in our ranks. Jukka is a long-time associate of the band and we didn’t have to ask him twice to fill Pekka's boots when the situation emerged. Jukka is an unearthly powerhouse on both bass and vocals, and we simply can’t wait to unchain him on stage when the shows are possible again. With Jukka we are already writing and rehearsing material for the third Lord Fistalbum, to be recorded in 2022. Welcome Beast."
