It's not bad at all but it's somewhat generic and a bit predictable. The talent is definitely here but they're not making music as memorable as Portnoy-era DT or Symphony X etc.

As their debut did nothing for me, I don't know whether if I should give this a chance or not.

I thought the two primary purposes for the internet were cat memes and overreactions.

It's still pretty worthwhile, but I doubt you'll give it a second listen, or that I will for that matter.

Pop prog is amazing lol... It makes nobody happy, prog fans go meh, pop fans want nothing to do with prog.. And for me it's just boring.. But maybe I'm the worst to speak on this, I find all portnoy era dream theater, and all dream theater, amazingly talented but boring as hell

I was expecting more, being a big fan of Dream Theater (especially Portnoy's era)
I thought the first album is OK but this one is just boring to me.

Not a good sign when the lead singer reminds you of Nickelback.

Some great talent coming together here. Sure some sons are generic, but there are a lot of standouts too, especially the closing 16 minute song.
