Well when I see for the first time the cover back of this promotional CD, I must admit that I said to myself something like "What the hell, these guys dressed like a Black Metal bands, are doing on Metal Heaven?". To be honest I didn't know that Bloodbound was actually a pure Heavy Metal band and I'm still wondering what is the signification of this picture. But whatever anyway we just don't care of the appearances, we're only here to talk about music and with "Nosferatu", the first release of Bloodbound (Sweden), we will talk about great music.

Rating: 10 From the height of 6 years all I can say this album is one of the missing gems in the crown of heavy/power metal. "Clone" comparisons killed interest unfortunately. Almost all reviewers said it's just "Iron Maiden"-type album. Not true. At least it's "The Best of Iron Maiden on Steroids" album. Even more closely - "Ultra-Melodic Modern NWOBH/Power Metal with Fabulous Songwriting and Divine Vocals" album.
Music is so emotional I have no enough words to describe all spectrum... Maybe heroic, majestic and perfect soundtrack for demolition of old Empires and creation of the new ones will be good)
Still when not in proper mood, you can easily think about it "another clone bla-bla-bla" and go on. So listen to "Behind the Moon", "Nosferatu", ""Metal Monster" or "On the Battlefield" when your soul siiiings or wants you to do something great. Then you will be rewarded.
But main point - don't miss it.

Good album. Doesn't deserve an 8.8 cause that means it's one of the best albums ever made. Maybe a 7.8... Fallen From Grace verses sound like Eagle Fly Free by Helloween...

Rating: 10 This album seriously kicks ass. I don't like Iron Maiden at all (blaphemy! My Metalstorm account will be revoked!), but I love this one. Awesome, soaring vocals from Breed, excellent songwriting, tunes that'll stay in your head for days...they were firing on all cylinders for this one. Alas, things went downhill for Bloodbound after this album. But don't miss Nosferatu.
