Of course. There is no substitute for looking into the bands’ background and lyrics for ourselves. I just really appreciate that the chance of falling in love with the music of truly awful people is far less likely here.
Just one reason Metal Storm is so incredibly important and useful for me, is the fact that when I discover a band here, I at least know the music itself isn’t an expression of nazism or some other evil ideology.
We’ve all probably paid for art made by horrible people. There is no way to be aware of every single band’s exact ideology, let alone the beliefs the individual members. Just one reason why… tbc

On the warpath once again, Warbringer are back to lay claim and conquer the metal scene; pledge allegiance or resist in vain. Weapons Of Tomorrow sees the band upping the sonic firepower they have at their disposal. Their 6th effort sees the band take another leap forward on their path out of the middle tier of thrash into the upper echelons that they have long threatened to join.
Dull start, picked up a pace, and brilliant finishing. It easily threw "Woe To The Vanquished" out of the thrash pit conveniently in terms of speed, riffs, and awesome drumming.
Still far away from my fav Warbringer record "Worlds Torn Asunder", but nonetheless, it's a great return to its form.
I really enjoyed this one, adding to my shopping list \m/

And Darkness falls upon the end of history
While I drink the milk of the Black Goddess and cry over the mankind
Great! Album in overall is maybe not perfect, but there are some real masterpieces: for me those are Defiance of Fate, Heart of Darkness and Outer Reaches. Those make this album even 9/10. Some tracks are just average but others - thanks to brilliant drums, sophisticated guitars, incredeable vocals and gentle chorus - are really great! This is the album worth to buy to listen and keep for next generations. I'm really impressed and I'm counting for more great music on next release. I noticed even my wife shaken her head when Warbringer was played
On the first listen i removed few songs and in the second, few more but still I am with 5 tracks which are getting repeated. As others said correctly, it just grew to the end. Fav tracks which lasted:
02. The Black Hand Reaches Out
04. Defiance Of Fate
06. Heart Of Darkness
07. Power Unsurpassed
10. Glorious End

In the beginning I was made of clay. Then I bit the apple and they changed me to metal 🤘
I gotta echo the sentiments. Bizarre song ordering, as the 2nd half of the album is easily a 9+ and it finishes with, by far, the best song of the album.

I think it's intentional for them to build momentum towards the end before reaching their climactic finish.

I actually love it when bands do that! When an album starts with the best track I progressively listen to fewer and fewer tracks after each listen, until I end up just listening to the title track .. If the best is at the end, that gives me a good reason to listen to the whole thing until the climax.

I totally get where you're coming from, but it's a risky proposition because you risk losing the listener early on. Your "old" fans will understand and listen all the way through, but a potential new fan might get through the first 2 or 3 and go "nah..."
