This sounds more like a jazz album than a black metal album. Maybe some black 'n' roll with doom and drone influences. The shorter songs are much better than the longish ones, eg: fervour and fall. The tunes are really creative with lots of cool sax and repetitive slow moving riffs. Reminds me specially of Furia of Poland.

Oh, my god. Songwriting is top-notch. While everything is incredible, I'm particularly blown away from Kim's vocal work. Thing making it a special experience is this isn't very lyric-heavy.
