This is probably the death metal album I am waiting most for this year. I loved Below, II was so so. Stoked.

Release date pushed back on bandcamp to July 10th. Pretty lame for those of us who pre-ordered a digital copy. I always tell myself to never pre-order anything ever. Guess I'm a slow learner.

Why the fuck would they delay an album?

Digital version was released today.

Pretty solid release, 7.5 I'd say.

Originally kicked from my top 100 metal albums of 2020 list but after listening again, the "flaw" I initially had with the album became absent. I listened to a lot of metal in 2020 and warmed up to the rough vocals found in sludge and stoner metal bands. Before, Necrophilos's vocals were the type only a mother could love. I then realized I am that mother. The otherworldly, melodic riffs were appreciated then as now too.
