Like so many artists who achieved success in the 1980s, Scorpions were better in the ‘70s. Contrary to popular belief, they were actually quite capable of rocking you like a hurricane before 1984.

Without trying to be a genre nazi. How does this album not have the heavy metal tag while for example Love at first Sting has it? Especially considering it is not only one of their heaviest albums but it has two of the heaviest and most "metal sounding" songs of the decade with "The Sails of Charon" and "He's a Woman, She's a Man". The same goes for most of the Uli Jon Roth albums. If someone mentions Scorpions and heavy metal, most people I know, myself included think mainly of the albums from In Trance to Blackout.

Fair point, but also "Face The Heat" and some tracks on "Crazy World" come to mind. "Face The Heat" is the most metal sounding Scorpions album in the modern sense.
