So here I am reviewing an album almost two years old. Reading comments, I see how little appreciation there is for this album. While it's clear not quite everyone will love this album, it's got a lot of good stuff, whether it's your style or not.

So sad to see the low rates for albums like that because no blast beats, crunchy guitars and cookie monster vocals

There are so many things that go through my head when I listen to this album. I believe this is what most people imagine when they think of power metal, the cliche rhythms and backing symphonies, high pitched vocals and all the songs sounding the same and pretty cheesy. I can understand why, although the performance is great and the band is definitely skilled at what they do and the singer definitely has a clear and good voice, as a fan of power/prog power/ prog this is not the power metal I like.

It is very similar to Majestica and ReinXeed from the a few things that I've heard from the singer's other bands, and to me this is just another band name, album cover and album name. Nothing really changes, there's no riffing like some other power metal bands have (not US power), and the backing symphonies make each song sound the same. The vocals are great but I wish he was singing other melodies with better music. A better example of this style of power metal where it's done many times better is Dragonland's "Under The Grey Banner".

Everything is of high quality but to me it's just another power metal album and mainly due to the lack of great innovative songwriting and memorable songs.

Some promissing moments, but overall forgetable. Majestica is much better.

One of my favourite albums ever. No serious flaws, great songwriting and melodies. So many emotions throughout the storyline through the music, the lyrics, the atmosphere. Very rare for a symphonic power metal opera, especially these days.
