Maybe best debut for ages in a genre, maybe best debut in general from this year. Best songs When Tridents Fail and The Lost Compass. It has gothic , extreme gothic, mdm in one, harsh vox meats calmer ones, Only thing is missing female beck vocals (and no dont hire Sarah Jesebel Deave). Otherwise I can not bitch here pals.

It seems that the older I get, the more I let my prejudices dictate my listening patterns. I'm sad to admit that were it not for this album's nomination in the Awards, the Extreme gothic and Symphonic tags would have meant a hard pass for me. And yet here I am, totally hooked. Because this album is fucking fantastic, with just the right dose of extreme and catchy, and such an intelligent use of symphonics. Unexpected awesomeness is the best, really.
