Wolvennest's Void was a fairly colossal undertaking; their next album, Temple, is no different.

Listening this i still don't know what is krautrock, and where bm comes here, but I do know that surkraut taste awesome.
Slow motion hybrid mix whit heavyer sound, a bit drone, stoner structure, and female vocals gives this some psychedelic touch. Weird album when you need describe a genre.

I'm really liking this album. "Swear to Fire" is an amazing track.

It doesn't often require multiple listens for me to get a proper sense of an album, but I'm still not entirely certain whether I enjoy this. It's definitely its own thing, which in itself is commendable, and there's a lot to unpack... A rare case where I'll need to revisit down the road before I can feel assured in my opinion.

If you're not completely averse to this album but still have a hard time getting into it, I would suggest that you try their previous release, Void. Same style as this one, only a bit more straightforward and easier to grasp. It's in my top 5 of the last decade.

Super drone doom. The first two tracks are fire. Other great tracks include alecto, succubus and souffle de mort.

From what I understand, krautrock was a German prog scene in the 70's. I could be wrong but that is what I gathered.

Some of the best progressive rock I've heard comes from the 70s Krautrock scene. Neu!, Can, Faust, Guru Guru, Amon Düül II, Cluster, and early Tangerine Dream were all great acts from that scene around that time.

This band has a such a unique blend of 70s psychedelic Krautrock and modern black metal, which makes this album a dark and trippy experience, and the creepy vocals really contribute towards that.
