Although restlessness may be a burden, it seems to be a beneficial burden for King Buffalo, at least so far.

Definitely more consistent than Dead Star, if not quite at the level of Longing To Be The Mountain

Edit: Scratch that, this is actually a really good stoner rock album

Found it too opeth-proggy oriented, but it's somewhat enjoyable.

Pretty good, it obviously doesn't deserve a 4/10 score
best tracks were "Locusts" and "Silverfish" to me. "The Knocks" was pretty cool too
sometimes the vocals reminded me of the great Al Cisneros of Sleep
it had some good and creative riffs and some generic ones
overall it's very enjoyable and very replayable
also the damn beksinski cover art ..... using his paintings as album cover arts should be a way more popular trend

Well, I have never listened anything from Tool that resembles doom in any way. On the other hand, Opeth has always been associated to the doom scene, even if they'd perfectly fit in the progressive melodeath classification. Since KB is a stoner rock in its essence, a subgenre that can be considered the prototype of modern doom metal, I think the association with Opeth makes pretty much more sense.

what I meant was that some of the riffs and some songs sound a lot like Tool
but yeah with what you've said, Opeth makes sense too

Excellent album. Not a single bad song in this album. Silverfish is such a cool song.
