Queensrÿche remains among the most influential bands of American metal history. The first seven years of their career are legendary and their songs are recognizable on the spot for their sound and uniqueness.

"Rage for Order", Queensrÿche's second full length album is fantastic to say the least. Each of their first three albums was a progression into something greater. "Rage for Order" was caught in between their first full length album "The Warning" and their masterpiece "Operation: Mindcrime". The songs are fulfilling and original, something of which is somewhat rare in the music world.

This album is really good! I personally feel that the chorus for Chemical Youth (We Are Rebellion) is so obviously "80s" that it kind of makes me cringe, but overall, there are a lot of kickass standouts on here, like the whole first half of the album and I Will Remember.

Ordinary men hate solitude. But the Master makes use of it, embracing his aloneness, realizing he is one with the whole universe (Lao Tzu).

Solid stuff, but inspiring. Thank Moses for Operation Mindcrime.

When it's good it's brilliant but overall it's got a bit too uneven and wavy songwriting. At times it delivers the great ass-kicking metal they gave us on the debut (The Whisper, Surgical Strike) but mostly it's melodic pieces with ballads parts and stuff, I think they perfected that on Mindcrime but here it's not spot on. Some songs are down right boring (Gonna Get Close To You, Chemical Youth) and the album never really gets any flow. It's one of those albums where you listen to your favourites and skip the rest.

The Whisper is definitely my favourite tune, metal to the bone! But the more ballad-like I Dream in Infrared, The Killing Words and London is very good and memorable songs as well.

My favorite Queensryche record. "Walk In The Shadows" is a masterpiece, so is " Dream In Infrared" "I Will Remember" & "London" is cool. Other tracks are worthy of a listen as well.
