First album I heard by Elegy. Picked it up as a impulse buy for 4€ in 2005. Even if I liked it back then it got shelved pretty fast, I favored power metal in the veins of Rage, Gamma Ray and Grave Digger. Today when I listen to it i'm totally blown away. Patrick Rondat on guitar is a beast, his playing is so smooth and have has a technical side to it that really amaze me and Ian Parry's voice is just booming all over the songs. How this band is totally forgotten today is a crime. I can't recommend this record enough to fans of Vanden Plas, Shadow Gallery or Symphony X.
