This one has been a companion to me for a couple of years now, and counting. Not the optimal companion like a mix between a cat and a lemur would be, though. Yes, a cat-lemur would most certainly cause sheer annihilation of any physical device used for adorability measurement. Rotting Christ's Genesis is more like a raccoon. Not that raccoons aren't adorable, but bear with me here. And with "bear," I already have used up my annual allotment of animal references. Read more ›› |

Pretty solid album. It can stretch near-boredom territories at times; but the song structures are so well defined that it keeps your interests peaked by the end of each track. My first Rotting Christ album and I look forward to more.

Lex Talionis and Quintessence are awesome. There are definitely some bland areas and missteps though. Every song seems to have a really cool part, but it is often marred by some poor choice right next to it.
