I loved Dying Fetus when I first heard "Nocturnal Crusifixion", it was brutal and scary, the vocals were so low and bleeding that made me look under my bed before sleeping, the music was so extreme and so intense that jammed this song in my top 5 of that time, it was one of the most agressive bands I had ever heard!

Rating: 8 Its true. WOA is the weakest DF album till then and this is something sad..

I once vaguely remember listing to this and it was one of the most uninspired, boring Grindcore/Death Metal album I ever heard.

I enjoyed it. It's quite clean, but I liked it.

Rating: 10 To me this one is full of energy and emotion, gone are the cheesy songs just for shock value, this one deals with issues.
And as they become more popular, they can afford to make a better produced album.
It is not my favorite DF album, but it is a very close second! And I seem to play this one the most in my truck, because it is the one I can play the loudest!!!

Very underrated. 'Nuff said.

Not just this album, but the entire band if you ask me. Because they aren't "br00tally" brutal death metal or wanking technical death metal or grimy atmospheric death metal people don't consider them as one of the best.

I mean I don't either, but I give them credit for being a consistent death metal band that offers more to the average listener than Cannibal Corpse.

Quoted. For. Truth. Seriously.

Rating: 8 Weak compared to the other stunning albums I've listened to by Dying Fetus, but it still succeeds in consistent brutality and pummelling heaviness. This album doesn't stray too far from the path set by the band's brilliant 'Killing on Adrenaline' album, but it surely continues what DF fans have always loved about them.
