'Time' is a good album, but art of me thinks this is where Diamond (and you can curse me for saying this) actually lost his vocal talent a bit. There are still songs here his vocal range can be heard and admired, but not as often as on earlier albums. Aside from that, there are some pretty awe-inspiring songs here, such as 'Witches' Dance' and 'The Afterlife'.

Actually, I found this album better than their previous releases. "My demon", "Time" and "The Mad Arab" just do it for me.

This is, in my opinion, Mercyful Fate's best album. Yes, better than Melissa and Don't Break The Oath. I especially love the title track.

Absolutely amazing to put out an album this good so late in his career- probably one of the most under rated metal albums of all time. I like this one better than In the Shadows as well, the Time album has at least 5 songs that could be mainstays in the MF concert set list. Hail the King, again..amazing.

I strongly find Time and Mellisa should be on the same rank, Time even slightly better than Mellisa.
The first 5 tracks on Time are superb, unfortunately the second half failed otherwise this could be the best of Mercyful Fate.
