This is a dense record, you can clearly hear that they put a lot of work into it. The drumming is insane, the guitar work is also at times mindblowing. Love it. The title track and the ending 25 minute vampire epos Shadowhall are both killer!

And if you ask of my opinion
It's a blessing, not a curse
I am immortal, I am the holy one
So tell me, how can this ever be a curse?

The 2cd+dvd version is pretty spectacular as well. The bonus "best of" cd is a nice listen even if there's nothing unique about it except for a re-recording of Lost in the City and two cover tunes. The dvd on the other hand is a must-have. Their performance in front of 30000 south koreans is electric and showcases how good these guys were on stage. Sadly they never found a solid fanbase.

I would rate the album Stardawn a very strong 8. With the bonus cd and dvd it's a 9.
