Not every thrash band crashed and burned come the turn of the 90's; Anthrax are among the exceptions to this rule, transitioning to the new era of music with a bang.

This is actually pretty good to be honest. I know that many anthrax fans were probably disappointed about the change in vocalists almost 20 years ago, but John Bush isn't that bad a singer if i'm honest. 'This is not an Exit' is misleading in its title, but some of these riffs are really heavy. At least they had Scott Ian all the way:D

Album is alright but consider the circumstances. Tough to follow the album I feel is the best in their discography with a brand new singer.

Anthrax first attempt to play modern thrash metal with a new singer. In my opinion it worked nearly perfect.

Blasting this right now, and i gotta say it gets better every time i hear it! I remember never giving this album a shot until i randomly found it on cassette one day and thought why not (every anthrax tape i have sounds better than cd for some reason); ended up loving it before side a was done.

A good album. more of a high and low thing, some tracks i really enjoy (Only floored me the first time i heard it) but chunks of the album just do nothing for me.

My favourite Anthrax album. As a teen I loved their 80's stuff, but since I feel like I've grown out of it. Not bad, but the 80's stuff is just so influential it has lost its best edge over the time. Sound of White Noise on the other hands feels just as fresh and interesting as it was when I first heard it. I don't think anybody has ever managed to capture the style and feel of White Noise as well as they did.
You've got a lot of guts. Let's see what they look like.
