Gallhammer is a girl band which comes from Japan. But of course, don't even believe that you'll be able to listen to some Japan Pop here, no, these girls are mighty and they play old school Black Metal, Doom and Punk?. Well yes, usually we call their music Crust? If you like simple music, "Ill Innocence" will be for you but I really hope that you're not looking for something complex? "Ill Innocence" is the total opposite?

Well, some opinions change. This album is Surprisingly good when you hear it at the correct mental state. In my case it was a very sluggish, hot day when I had no intentions of getting out of the house. But I had to go to work plus I had a slight hangover from the previous night.

The repetitive riffs work under that stressed state of mind and so so the rough vocals. The only problem are those fucking high-pitched cat-getting-skinned-alive-anime-girl-moan yells that appear on the middle section of one track. Fortunately it is only for that one and the rest is back to the slow death/doom/black combo.
A recall the third album being beyond salvation But perhaps I should give their debut a proper chance.
