Review
Lyrics The Art of War was released in three different versions: a standard edition containing only the CD, a vinyl version and a Limited Edition. The limited contains the full-length CD and the book The Art of War by Sun Tzu. The limited edition comes in a DVD case with alternate artwork. All preorders from the official Sabaton homepage also included the single, Cliffs of Gallipoli.

So, here is another album from the Swedish Sabaton, this one named "Art of War" after the war manual written by Chinese leader and genius strategist, Sun Tzu. Sun Tzu says, "There are roads which must not be followed, armies which must be not attacked, towns which must not be besieged, bands that you must know and albums that must be heard..." Well, maybe old Sun Tzu didn't utter those last two sentences, but he didn´t know Sabaton. Read more ›› |

8.5/10 leaning slight towards an 8 for me. Pretty enjoyable with some great moments, but not enough to justify a 9.
