Found this at a local used CD store today and with the artwork that came with the first 500 copies printed. What a find for about $6.

The first track is fantastic too what the hell are you talking about... Man, the lyrics are insane on that one. Nothing like the last screamed words being "The fire baptizes little children when I blow this shit up!"... and then a classic swedish children song from an old kid's show.

Yeah i have no clue, something about that song just put me off, i wouldn't say i really hate it (i've listened to the album like 2 more times today) but it's still my least favorite on the album...

Digging the instrumentals and variety, not to mention the sound samples.
Not sure how I feel about the vocals. Remind me of Kabuki theater performers for some weird ass reason.

Oh how I still love this album and keep on coming back to it year after year. It's one of those gems which is just as good as the first time I heard it. Maybe even better.

Honestly, not the biggest fan of this one. The production is not great (especially the buzzy guitar tone) and the song writing to me feels disjointed and incomplete. I find their later albums develop this sound more thoroughly.

Absolutely stunning and might be one the best Swedish albums I have heard. This should be included to their folklore instead of the boring likes of Lundell, Håkan Hellström and Kent. I totally missed this before as I only listened to their 7,5-8,5 stuff in the middle of their discography. This is a fun post-modern masterpiece that has that perfect narcotic sound. Black humour metal, cheers for this Lifelover!

I would ease up on the Kent criticism given that Lifelover simply wouldn’t exist without them. This one and specially the sophomore album are just Kent with added distorsion and screams.

Kent is good and I was a fan, it puzzles me though that so few swedes listens to Lifelover. On being an inspiration I thought Yvonne was a bigger inspiration than Kent.
