Rating: 10 How are there no comments here? Great stuff, the misery on this album is practically tangible. "Blank" is the quintessential sludge jam

  So viscous and raw.

Musically okay, emotionally insane.

I think that I can get behind this statement even though I'm a huge EHG fan. They do get some extra points for being one of the pioneers but fact is that their songwriting is quite simple (compared to contemporaries like Acid Bath for example) but when it comes to performance and sheer emotion, yeah... They are among the very best.

Sludge masterpiece, relentlessly nasty and groovy from start to finish

The opening riff of Blank that leads to Mike's painful howl is one of the best descriptions of sludge.
