Although the vocals seem to be changing between an early 80's Thrash Metal shriek and a low growling BM vocal style too often, this album still represents a further progression from the band's first two albums. Perhaps a bit weaker in sound now that the band evidently aimed for a thrashier musical direction compared to the 'The sun of Tiphareth', there is still a good range of songwriting to be discovered here.
