Battleroar is in the category of the bands which still play the same kind of music from an album to one other. If you're already into the music of this Greek band, there are a lot of chances that you'll like their new release "To Death And Beyond". Don't expect anything outstanding here, nothing special or original too but just solid Power Heavy Metal.

I dont like 99% of this kind of music. I dont like the greek scene refering to this music. But I EXTREMELY like this band. This album is an exception, for me a real masterpiece. I ve not felt that much the epic atmosphere with other album than this, counting hundrends and hundrends of albums.
Originality does not exist in this kind of music. Judging the disc is a 10 for me, considering that this is an uknown band, buried in the greek abandoned scene..

Almost agree with you there, the album is strong, but I think "The Wrathforce" and "Born in the 70s" are underwhelming when compared to the other songs.

I listened a lot to this one when it was released. Loved it back then. Now a days i'm not so fond of it. It's never bad but it I miss the mysticism and uniqueness of Age of Chaos. This is more standard power/ heavy metal. It's very consistent though and some of the songs are pretty memorable.
Good but not great.
