I think it is their worst as it is unnecessarily long "and I actually prefer long songs" and weak musically

It's cool that they did something like this. It's a powerful long song. I think it's amazing, but I still think Hope is the best thing they've done yet. Blows me away.

The demo songs showcase how bad Swallow The Sun has become over the years. At least that some very decent, albeit generic, death doom.

I agree. And I have to say it took me a while to really get this song. At first I didn't like it at all, but the more I listened to it, the more I liked it.
Like you, I think only Hope is superior. For some reason I do not regard The Morning Never Came as their best, though it's still an amazing album.
