it's a great DVD, probably the most devoted fans ever caught on video apart from Maiden's Rock In Rio and Flight 666 DVD's, but imo the main disc(the one which i watched) lacks 4 ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL BG songs. i'm sure you know which i'm talking about.
on a side note, when i watched it i made a point of not checking out the tracklist. boy was i surprised at hearing one of my favorite tracks as the second one, my neck feels a bit stiff and of course when they played Lord of the Rings, my absolutely favorite BG track. (fuck, i just watched the bit where they play LOTR and i almost cried)
just for the record, i'm talking about Welcome To Dying, Born In a Mourning Hall, Majesty and Into The Storm(probably the most epic chorus out of all the BG discography, which is really saying something)

I've seen Blind Guardian live three times I think, but I've never seen "And Then There Was Silence" live. I would love to see them do that one day.
I bought this DVD many years ago, haven't watched it for a long time though.

i would say for example "Time What Is Time" is waaay better how any of those four ...but any whining about "missing songs" on DVD made after 7 full lengths is nothing but pointless anyway also there is probably no song i would like to "sacrifice" for any substitute...maybe "And The Story Ends"

Story Ends was a great surprise, when i heard the unmistakable intro. the fact is, i think Silence drags on for way too much time and an impossibly epic chant combo like Welcome To Dying-Born In a Mourning Hall would have been more appropriate. still, a kickass DVD.

And Then There Was Silence may "take time", but for me it is one of the most epic songs ever...and of course one of the best by BG...it cannot missing

Is the sound as muffled as on the live album "Bard's Tavern"?
Because I don't like how this live album is produced.

I cant really judge sound quality fairly, because i have quite poor system...all i can say is, that i had no serious complains about sound

From what I remember, it wasn't really clean... but it was years ago when I last watched it, so I can't really say.

Great DVD. It contains many of my favourite songs and "And Then There Was Silence" sounded as epic live as on the record. No complaints about video and sound quality. Besides the second disc contains some nice bonus material.
