This album just doesn't get old. Maybe one of my all-time favourite metal albums.

Incredibly OTT, but in a good way! I loved this album since it first came out, it's much more epic and atmospheric than their debut A Black Moon Broods Over Lemuria (which was very promising in itself), and still sounds as potent as it did 15 years ago (at the time of writing this). All the orchestral parts were done on keyboard yet it sounds much more impressive than the vast majority of bands that use 'proper orchestras' and the band's sense of melody is amazing.

Just simply epic and way ahead of its time. A true symp/black metal gem. Very dark sounding yet uplifting keyboards present. Pity Bryan didnt continue his grows which were so good in the previous record.

Track 7: And lo.. (cant be arsed spelling the full name) is my fav sounds like a prefect setting for a awesome battle!

This album just doesn't get old. Maybe one of my all-time favourite metal albums.

Relistening to Bal Sagoth after I forgot about them for about 10 years. Really good.

Absolutely! Try Kull if you want more! It's the band that spawned from Bal-Sagoth...
