I have tried this album twice but could not listen to more than two songs due to extremely and unpleasantly sharp sound. Is it really the production of this album or I should blame my downloaded version?

When I first heard the album I was extremely put off by the clicky, fake-sounding drums but now I think it's one of the best elements of this album. Quite probably my favourite TAoP release.

If you don't like this one though by all means check out the following album and EP, as they're much less abrasive and more dark ambient oriented.

I know these guys meant to be intense and sick, but do not think the album actually sounds this badly produced according to my standard. I should sure re-download and then check.

Well, I am also annoyed by drum sound, it sounds just "too much" and artificial but drum is not the only problem. The vocals also seem blurred and that's why i think this album actually is better than my version since I have never heard anyone describing this band as lo-fi or kvlt or whatever shit that is.
Btw, I though you loved "deleted scenes..." more than anything else these guys have ever done. It seems that you put that album on your dark ambient/drone/noise list since it is less structured, right?

I love that the music pans around from left to right like it's spinning sometimes. Excellent guitar work too. Great release.
