even official snow mobile roads are 99% safe, but we ride over all and be in ice its always at your own risk, and mid april is my border when I go on the ice
We have one ice road for cars, in Luleå you can drive car to small islands . To get to the town I need cross 6 lakes, by snow mobile and almost all roads cross some water way. I gass as crazy when I cross rivers or big big lakes
01. Awakening... 02. Before The Dawn 03. Unholy Prophecies 04. The Nocturnal Silence 05. Inborn Evil 06. Shadows Of The Moon [2022 reissue bonus] 07. The Ancients Gate 08. Sacrificial Rites 09. Father Of Creation [feat. Micke Jansson] 10. Where Sinners Burn [feat. Rickard Daemon]
A sweet keyboard melody trickles in. A feeling of dread arises with every passing note as we are enveloped by the eerie atmosphere. A buzzing guitar riff crashes in, mimicking the soft melody. The tension culminates - and explodes with a howling scream as all the instruments are unleashed, filling the nocturnal silence with a flood of wicked musical perfection!
I've never heard this. Is this considered a classic?
This well fucking should be!
I can't believe this album has <100 votes with obviously no staff/first review despite Necrophobic being more consistent than Entombed and Dismember.

Hyped about the new album release tomorrow so I've been giving most of their back catalogue a spin. They're incredibly consistent but it's difficult to look past this terrific debut if you want somewhere to start.
Left Hand Path is a classic but personally I think they sound more similar to Dissection (and Merciful Fate) than Entombed. Necrophobic have always been very melodic as evidenced by this record.
Necrophobic has a bit of the Swedish death metal sound as well as a bit of gothenburg, but they definitely have more in common with Dissection than Entombed or Dismember, and an argument can be made that they are more black metal than death metal
that said, their debut is one of the best albums ever

Your wish is my command!
I couldn't let this perfect album be 'un-reviewed' any longer! Enjoy my review - hopefully I've done this masterpiece justice!
