21:14 - Lit. Well, you're wrong on all accounts. First, there are some decent Nu metal out there. Second, Machine had maybe one Nu album (Supercharger). They're actually groove metal. And in terms of genres, Shoegaze/Blackgaze is the worse.
21:13 - MechanisT Burn My Eyes (the '94 release) isn't nu metal at all. If anything, that's some kickass thrash (not the conventional type but still thrash).
21:11 - EMols86 About Machine Head or Nu Metal? Maybe I haven't given the genre a fair chance, but everything that I've heard pretty much sucks if you ask me. Just not my style I guess.
21:05 - MechanisT Hair and glam are the stinkers. Nu metal is "good starter material" for many, as was the case with myself. I have fondness of it.
