Sometime first feelings are weird and definitely wrong. I don't know why but when I listened to "Into The Labyrinth" for the first time, I found this album terribly boring and uninspired. Maybe that the problem came from the first song "Battalions Of Steel" which is too epic (strangely I like it a lot now…) but I don't know why I was totally wrong about the new Saxon… The more I listen to it, the more I like it and for sure, the British Heavy Metalers are back to the top with this release!

Yeah! I like it a lot too.

Simply the best album from Saxon's after 90ths. The epic tracks are truly amazing.

member of the true crusade against old school heavy metal, early 80s thrash, NWOBHM, traditional doom, first and second wave black metal, old school death metal, US power metal, 70s prog rock and atmospheric doomsludgestoner. o/

Pretty good album that starts with some great rocking songs but then it gets a bit too repetitive for my taste. Well, this is a heavy metal album, what else could I expect?
