Very good album, but I think their previous works are better.

I absolutely fell in love with Mgla recently. There are few bands that manage to combine heavyness, atmosphere and melody in such a mature and dignified way.

Highly recommended album!
If somebody is looking for classical BM release - you do not have to look any further! I am glad that there are still some bands out there playing such music!

Excellent album from beginning to end. MGLA is my favorite modern Black Metal band and this is their early masterpiece.

Outstanding debut. Raw, melodic and deep without unnecessary ornamentation. Already a classic.

Great debut, it's raw, melodic, sinister and with a powerful performance, but this is just a shadow of what the band have become. They have certainly improved their sound and style since this debut, and I would go as far to say they had perfected it on Exercises In Futility, but this is still a great reminder as to how they started, which was pretty much deep rooted in the style of traditional black metal.
