Revisiting this again after forgetting them for a few years, and I realise even more now how great this is. They get extra points in my book because they sing in French and manage not to make me cringe at it, that's a rare thing. But overall I find the music fascinating, it sounds really unique to me, incorporating some weird goth vibes in some melodic death / black. The voice of the singer is really great as well, provoking some odd feelings with all the different techniques he uses. I wish the band had more visibility and will bump this album to a 9 today because it stood the test of time, and how unique it is.
