Also released on double 12-inch LP in gatefold-cover, limited to 500 copies, featuring the bonus tracks "The Prophecy" (Iron Maiden cover) and "Stormchild" (Trespass cover).

The 2007 CD re-release also includes these bonus tracks. Also, "The New Dark Age" and "Legion XIII" are indexed as separate tracks on the reissue.

The quotation at the outset of the album is from H. P. Lovecraft's "The Call of Cthulhu."

Fantastic, epic album. How this is rated so low is just baffling. Definitely one of the best Doom releases ever.
Learn to adapt to the change, or get washed away like tears in the rain.

Dark Cornatus
I'm a big Epic Doom Metal fan, and i was drawn to this band from this highly rated album, but i consider this quite average compared to most other Epic Doom Metal bands i've heard so far. The vocals are pretty bad - zero emotion. Music is decent enough i guess.
