It's crazy how old-school they sound and still feel new. Proves you don't have to bend the limits of the genre you play to be relevant and innovative. Any other album similar to this one (by the same guys) I should listen to?

Atavism and Ape Uprising are both the same. Perhaps not quite on par songwriting wise with this, but still pretty damn excellent. The Animal Spirits is also the same soundwise but for some reason they threw all catchy hooks and sense of great melody of the window with that one and it's actually pretty bland.

You could also try Traveller. A lot of people consider it their masterpiece, but it's more almost power metal-oriented than everything from Atavism onwards. I appreciate it but much prefer their later sound.

Bored by the album as whole, but I must say that "Tiger! Tiger!"'s gotta be one of the best heavy metal/rock songs ever. "Poisoned Treasures" ain't too shabby either.
