26.02.2010 Dream Evil are back. These guys always put out top class heavy metal, and they've done it once more. This album isn't quite so catchy as a whole than some past albums, but the overall package is one of great solidarity. Some songs will make you think Judas Priest, others will make you laugh. These guys have a sense of humour, and aren't afraid to put it into the music. "In The Night" is a terribly addictive album that'll have you hooked. Extremely likeable, memorable, heavy power metal.

Rating: 9 The only track I have heard so far, Bang Your Head, sounds very Painkiller era Judas Priest.

Rating: 9 This album should be listened to tied to a chair in a windtunnel with the volume turned to 11.

This one is as good as the debut and Book Of Heavy Metal, the strongest since Gus and Snowy left.

Nothing ground breaking, but what did you expect, its fast, bombastic, a little heavier on the guitars than other releases, probably the new axeman Dannee Demon.

You can hear the NWOBHM influences again, JP and IM can be recognised, but if you like power metal thats what you want isn't it. Not sure about the bands new names though, Ritchie Rainbow, Pete Pain, come on guys, you're in your 40's.

Buy the special edition, as for once, the bonus tracks are as good as the rest of the CD. The only filler is Kill, Burn, Be Evil.

This was one of my favourites.

The more I listen to this album the better it gets, might be their best yet. I think the new guitarist has made the difference, he has surpassed Gus.

Sorry, still don't like Kill, Burn, Be Evil though.

I think it is decent, but nothing great. Obviously I don't share the same enthusiasm as many here though. I just did not see anything special in this album. Simply my personal opinion. Here's my full review:

How does this compare to 'Dragonslayer' in terms of lyrical direction? do they still focus on fantasy elements/war?
