I've heard a few tracks, seems quite similar to this only even more toward to the "roll" part of the death 'n' roll direction. Seems pretty good as well.

Xysma are also quite enigmatic in the sense that they started off as grindcore and ended as pop/surf rock. What other band can brag about accomplishing that?

I wouldn't go extreme gaga over this album but facts be facts: This shit is pretty unique-sounding most of the time. A real special kind of groove.

One could say it sounds sometimes like a more groovy death 'n' roll Demilich of sorts with the odd atmospheric parts in between.
