Callenish Circle was a Melodic Thrash/Death metal band from the Netherlands. They have had record label problems with several companies before settling on Metal Blade Records, on which they stayed for three subsequent albums. After nearly 15 years dedicated to metal, Callenish Circle decided to break up in February 2007.

The follow up to this was too faux-industrialised and a bit tacky really. This is probably their best work I'd say.

Yeah, your opinion seems to be the more popular one...But I really enjoyed the industial touches and emphasized choruses on Pitch Black Effects...Made it more memorable for me

same for me, Pitch Black Effects is my favorite, the industial touches and emphasized choruses are what make it so good
