Impressive that you've been listening to it for so long since it is only almost 25 years old
And that for quite an average album which comes nowhere near the quality of Feel the Fire and Taking Over which I both have been listening to ever since they were released.

Five years off is not 'almost'. Especially not when it constitutes 20% of 25 years.

Try flying Amsterdam from Singapore and being off course by 20%. So, yes, accuracy is extremely important for and also to the human race.

It's QFT that there're a lot of internet bullies around... but discovered 3 childish internet bullies in a day should be considered a great discovery.

By the same token don't expect people to keep quiet when you make outlandish comments about established genres and the like. Reacting to that with personal comments doesn't paint you in a favourable light.

I don't think my comments are outlandish at all...music itself is perceptive, it's not easy to define especially when an artist try to project it in a slightly different way.

Genre itself is only a general guide, not a doctrine for you to follow 100% exactly. You basically is a purist and follwer, that's why we have disagreements all the time. Don't think everything will always remains the same ! The sky has not fallen doest mean that it will not fall down forever.

With all due respect, I don't think anyone cares about your score, or mine, or whoever. Its there to display how we personally feel about the Album. If you feel its a 4, then don't change it, even less, let other opinions make you change it. You are entitled to your own opinion and dont let anyone take it away from your.

However, bear in mind that the Board is here to promote discussions and that comments will always have some sort of backlash, specially if you generate some harsh arguments, people will reply and some may not be that pleasant.

I totally agree but a lot of people aren't open to discussion at all. It's case of "my way or high way".

I see the backlash all the time from some specific posters.


Personally I love a good debate/discussion.

I have never seen to sentences contradict each other as much as those did.

He played us some new songs and asked if anybody could figure out where did it come from...No one. When the answers revealed everyone just shouted..."yeah, holy shit !".

I thought the same way after a few listens to Overkill last 2 & 3 album, there are too many parts sound too familaiar with their early approach. I can't point out exactly where but I knew the tempo, rhythms, melodies just familiar, they were just very skillfully transformed / copied.

Almost like in old times. IMO it was for the best that Overkill ditched those groove elements and went back to real thrash again.
