After Goodnight LA became a minor sale disaster you could think they would abondon the idea to try to hit the american market but no, this is another (not as obvious) try to impress the americans. It's better than Goodnight LA but there's too many songs here as well that don't cut it.
The best stuff here is the opening atmospheric Stormy Weather, the mini-epic The Flood, the rocking title track and the moody ending song The Long Ride. As for the rest it's either above average or just plain filler. So all in all it's a enjoyable album but not among their finest moments.
