Bad English
Tage Westerlund
When folkish inspired people discovers black metal and turns instruments to bluesy way a bit longer, you know guitar solos in hair metal. It dont work in BM, does it? well it does because here we had some a bit longer songs. Good howling piece when wind whispers in dead foggy forest and snow intruders are watching before invades.

The last song "Framtíð" is great, progressive and atmospheric and it might be one of Fortíð's best songs. That's why it's unfortunate that the rest of the album, while having some good riffs and writing throughout, is mostly unremarkable in comparison. Völuspá II was much more consistent and interesting.
