At the moment, while 2010 is slowly reaching its end, having looked back it's even more noticeable that 2010 has been a poor year concerning black metal, many dissapointing releases, even more not worth mentioning, one country though, Germany, has managed to keep the banners of the genre at high peaks. Agrypnie, alongside Dark Fortress and Imperium Dekadenz, stand with utter pride with their third release to date, 16.

This album clicked on me late "maybe after a couple of month from when I got it" but when it did WOW
The song writing is complex yet not to the point of showing of , emotions fill every track and sweeps the listener into some kind of trance "not the kind that WitTR delivers " and thumbs up to the drummer who did a perfect job on this album

Torsten vocal of Nocte Obducta very genies in black metal bands.and in the new band(Agrypnie) i think that poem and drum and vocal better than other German s band

This is REALLY good stuff. Modern black metal that doesn't sound like plastic: technique, varied and elaborated songs, atmosphere and overwhelming emotions; everything's there. It's an 8 but it might become something more if I get used to the album's length...
