I don't know why. but I feel so out of the loop for this album. Everyone seems to be wetting their pants over it, and I found juts kind find myself feeling more than meh over it. People keep on describing it as technical death metal, but aide from te drumming, there's nothing really all that technical about this, aside fro maybe the drums. Everyone's been going on about the guitar work, but I've yet to find a single solo which has invigorated, or intrigued me. Their ok, but nothing all that special. The only thing which saves it from being "bad" would be that the album intrigued me enough for me to allude me to believe that their is something new or interesting on every corner, but alas, nothing of the sort could be found.

Yeah there's a slight touch of technicality in the guitars too and a larger amount of seemingly-random stuff thrown in, but it just sounds like a mix of later Aborted, Arsis, In Flames, The Absence and The Black Dahlia Murder. Nothing incredible about it... vocals are lame and core-y... almost as incoherent and boring as the latest Evile, with similarly sparse spots of coolness like near the end of Dismantle the Dictator. '09 Divinity sounded much better IMO

I just don't know how to rate this. It could be really good if they had a second guitarist, but with only one it leaves me with a sense of wanting more.

"Enter The Hall" is an outstanding intro. Sadly, the rest of this album doesn't live up to the hype, and I find it gets tedious almost as soon as the second track begins.
EDIT: Not as bad after a few more listens. It's still nothing special, but it is a good album.

To you doubters out there, its obvious their first album was better. Their 2nd is certainly not a disapointment, but these guys are for real. They have a touring guitarist now so a lot of the songs translate live. I'm hopeful for the next album, and hopeful this upcoming european tour will give them some good publicity.

Just got this last week, loving the album. I like the mix of riffs he throws in. It can be straight up 80's thrash to a funky groove in no time. I didn't like the tone of the guitars all that much, a little bit too muddy for me.

Just listened to this album for the first time. I like it. Reminds me of Mutant.
