Out went Lilker and Bramante with the crossover leanings, and in came DiPietro, Metaxas with a slow groove sound. Something Wicked is the last Nuclear Assault album before they called it a day for the first time. While nowhere near the level established by the likes of Handle With Care, Something Wicked does have some good moments within its sonic walls.

I've never really been a fan of this band, but 'Something Wicked' is to me their best offering. 'Handle with Care' is ok, but part of me feels that the band hadn't fully matured at that point, which on this album shows them maturing a lot more in terms of musicianship. The shorter songs are ridiculous, but when the band come together to create actual songs, it proves for a good listen.

"Survive" is the one you should check out. 30 minutes of pure speed and bedlem.

"Survive", "The Plague", "Game Over" are by far the best Nuclear Assault ever released

"Handle With Care" is my fave Nuclear Assault album without doubt. As for "Something Wicked", I think there's a lot of good songs on it, and it's certainly a more cohesive album than "Out Of Order"...

I am there with you. But, the 'best" imo I think it's Game Over. Truly an exceptional album, crushing riffs, majestic hard hitting drums and soul ripping bass....wooo....awesome journey through 13 fucking great songs.

In an opening track from 0.29 to 0.41, you clearly see Slipknot - Psychosocial in it.

I had no clue Nuclear Assault made a worthy record after Handle with Care, but the legend is indeed true. After this the game was truly over for them.

Honestly, I did find this album to be decent at it best considering the prior records were absolute beast.
