When your list of personnel consists of members named "Mors Dalos Ra (vocals, guitarist, keyboards)", "The Evil N. (guitars)", "Black Shepherd Ov Doom (bass)" and "Mister Raelin (drums)", it is hard for me not to dismiss you as a retarded joke band. My silly prejudices, perhaps, but I simply have encountered too many of these bands. Attach the band name Necros Christos to those stage nicknames, however, and you've got a whole different story. I hate myself for not getting into these guys sooner. Sure, I listened to some of their stuff before (even caught them live once at Roadburn 2012) but never REALLY listened to them. This Roadburn I found a copy of their debut on vinyl and bought it without thinking through. One of my better blind buys so to speak. Damn this is good shit. The interludes do not feel forced at all. It just enhances the ritualistic atmophere to the nth degree! VA KORAM DO REX SATAN!
