Maybe I don't understand music very well but I never understood why people call "I Was Made for Lovin' You" a disco song. Sounds like a fairly straight-forward rock song to me. It was popular during the disco era - that's all I can work out. There are some ordinary moments on this album, especially the tunes that Ace sings (I can't stand his voice) but I really dig songs like "Sure Know Something" and "Magic Touch".

LOL Now I get it. Different tastes is what makes music great. Some prefer this garbage while I prefer what others think is garbage.

Weird that you rate this a 7 while you consider it garbage.
EDIT: Shit, you changed your rating right at the moment I quoted you

It is a disco song because it's got a disco beat to it, that's all
A pretty weak album, the only good songs are the ones you mentioned, I like those two a lot as well.

I agree 100%. I haven't really listened to disco, but yeah, I Was Made For Lovin' You has some disco elements, but it is just another rock song by KISS

The bass line in I Was Made For Loving You is quite your typical disco beat.

Yes, it has disco influences, especially in the bass line, but I still wouldn't call the whole thing Disco.
But then again, I don't know disco
