One of the insanely addictive album I've ever heard... Gojira's core sound is one of the best found in Extreme prog..

Gojira's most experimental album and after some consideration I find this to be one of their best.

Sort of a transitional album, but one that is certainly on par with the band's debut, if not in some cases better. Honestly, I prefer the more experimental element of Gojira's debut, but then I really liked the more immediate, less filler-based material here as well. The two shorter songs this time produce nice changes of pace, rather than coming across as pretty directionless by the end. And "Rememberance" and "Dawn" are really excellently written, certainly up there with the band's best.
