It's always kind of difficult to review obscure genre mixes like this first output of the German band Lilith Lay Down. The music seems to be more gothic metal than anything else, but there's a lot of other elements mixed in as well. Usually their sound is pretty dark, sometimes heavy and distorted, at other times acoustic and emotional with intricate and progressive songwriting. To equal the mufti-faceted moods and instrumentations, the vocals are high on variation as well, always completing the rest of the music. Read more ›› |
