I enjoy this album a lot and this genre is not even my thing; the music is concise, straightforward, no wankery, things are in balance (heaviness and melody).

I'm afraid that would't help much. They probably would record clearer guitars, but the intensity and feeling would be gone in many ways. And It's a long time since Colony, so their nowadays "Behind Space", most likely, wouldn't even meet the standards set here.

The music video for "Ordinary Story" was my first contact with In Flames. Damn, that's still so addictive a track. The album opener, "Colony" and "Coerced Coexistence" are some of the greatest tracks on this album.
