Yes, is another "___" Metal band, nowadays everyone wants to put an special label on their music, like "Dragon Metal", "Negative Metal" and now, "Battle Metal" , in defend of the band subject to the review here, I must say that for the first time I really feel like the title here suits the style perfectly, because when I hear Turisas I want to storm into some epic battle carrying one axe in one hand, a shield on the other and in my back a bow and a quiver of arrows.

Generic crap for me. Not to say that most folk metal doesn't have similar lyrical themes and styles but this really seems like a particularly poor attempt at that viking-ish theme. Some of the songs would probably be quite catchy if I gave it another spin ('One More' stood out as one of the better tracks) but I actually don't want that to happen. That's how cringe-worthy I find it. Especially 'The Land Of Hope And Glory'. What a terrible song.

Pretty good album! some songs bored me, but others were truly epic! like feast and famine. very unique sound this band has......"Battle Folk Metal" to me is a laughable title though.
